According to me, Word-of-Mouth takes place a major role in marketing. If you take care of your customers, you do best for them then eventually rather than keep coming and buying from you they gonna tell other people about your business.

It’s funny that everyone these days is trying to optimize to rank higher on Google, to be popular on Facebook, Instagram because that’s how they believe they gonna grow their business, Those things surely helps a digital marketer but the real core reason that remains evergreen in the marketing world is word-of-mouth. If you give good and the best service to your customers they will surely love it.

If you create products or services like take #slack, for example, people love it, they want a first in a space they are more usable, the better product they didn’t do much marketing it’s just started growing. If you look at the marketing that they started doing when they raise the money they were doing television ads with all the animals on their Tv commercial.

No one understood that #slack was based on their Tv commercial. But you know what now they are a multi-billion dollar company and its because they created an amazing product and by creating premium production service it creates more word of mouth marketing.

If you think of running shoes what brand are you gonna buy? it’s probably Nike because everyone talks about that, people know that it’s amazing the best, same with credit cards everyone pics master card, visa card, American express because of everyone talks about them, their brand is everywhere people have amazing customer experience with some of these brands. And what people look out when it comes to E-commerce. They blindly choose Amazon because it is the biggest and best in the whole world.

A lot of these companies are growing not because of the marketing efforts they are growing because of word-of-mouth marketing. And that’s not creative by being popular on Instagram or Facebook that’s truly made by providing amazing production services, caring for your customers is the best out there.

Now, look at #zappos it moved from silicon valley to Vegas because they needed a more formal and good way to do support they are able to do that in Las Vegas and they’re big to believe was to provide the best service out there.

Bata

So when you will order in many cases even though you pay for ground shipping they would just randomly give you over night shipping on your product(shoes) for free. You know why because they care about you, they want to give you such an amazing experience that you would tell your friends about them and these cause them bata and be worth now these days over a billion-dollar.
